Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Boards are generally in good order. Front board has decorative blind stamping. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends, gilt largely worn away. Several pages have dog ears. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight. Occasional mild foxing tofirst few. Pagination: [xix], 472 pp. 8 plates. Two small worm holes to inner joint. Additional photos are available upon request.
