Maroon decorated cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and black lettering to front. Heavy staining to boards with signs of damp. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is faded with bumping to ends. Somewhat cocked. Both inner hinges are cracked, rear hinges have been badly taped. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection. 2 folding maps and one further plate.
