Book Description: Volume One: Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Decorative blindstamping to both the front and rear boards. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Endpages are a little grubby. The volume has been bound with gutta-percha, which typical of a book of this age, has failed. Occasional foxing. 356 pp. Previous owner's mark to fep. Volume Two: Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Decorative blindstamping to both the front and rear boards. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Endpages are a little grubby. The volume has been bound with gutta-percha, it is holding better than the other volumes but will still need a good book binder. Occasional foxing. 340 pp. Previous owner's mark to fep. Volume Three: Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Decorative blindstamping to both the front and rear boards. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Endpages are a little grubby. The volume has been bound with gutta-percha, which typical of a book of this age, has failed. Occasional foxing. 295 pp. Previous owner's mark to fep. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 1122g. (YBP Ref: 2054/26 3-G9)
